I see your emotions, body sensations – I see the fear you're gripping in your stomach, the way it churns and coild as you try to digest your life's experiences...
I write the way I heal: by paying attention. To the body, to what's moving underneath, to the things we've been taught to ignore or push through. My writing is where the healing work meets the page.
I started writing publicly because I couldn't find the words I needed anywhere else. Honest, embodied language for what it actually feels like to tend to your own energy, to be queer in a wellness industry that wasn't built for you, to choose yourself over and over again in a world that would prefer you didn't.
Everything here, the essays, the books in progress, the journal, is an invitation to practice the same thing I practice with my clients: slow down, feel what's there, and trust it.

This is where the written work lives. Essays on energy, identity, embodiment, and the messy, beautiful process of learning to feel everything on purpose.
Part personal essay, part love letter to the body, the Substack explores what happens when we stop performing wellness and start actually practicing it. New pieces drop when they're ready. Subscribe at milowrites.substack.com or explore a couple of favorites below.

The
Book
A guide to
radical embodiment
Whole Body Alchemy the book is a guide to sensing, feeling, and tending to your own energy. Written for anyone who's ever been told to calm down, toughen up, or just get over it.
Part teaching, part narrative, the book expands on the practice Milo has been developing with private clients and community groups for years. It's not a textbook and it's not a memoir. It's something in between. A companion for people who are ready to stop outsourcing their healing and start trusting what their body already knows. Publication details coming soon.
